OUR PET POLICY

We love animals, but for the safety, comfort, and health of all our guests, pets are not permitted in the salon. While we understand how important your furry companions are, salons are not a suitable environment for them.

Why Pets Aren’t Allowed:

• Health Regulations: City and state health codes

strictly prohibit animals in salons.

• Client Sensitivities: Some guests may have

allergies or discomfort around animals.

• Safety & Sensory Concerns: Salon chemicals and strong scents can be

harmful or irritating to animals due to their heightened senses.

Per the State Board of Cosmetology and the Board of Consumer Affairs:

“No animals or pets shall be allowed in a salon, with the exception of fish kept in closed aquariums, or trained animals assisting the hearing impaired, visually impaired, or physically disabled.”

SERVICE DOGS ONLY — Not Emotional Support Animals

We are legally permitted to allow trained service dogs only. Emotional Support Animals (ESAs), comfort animals, therapy animals, and pets do not qualify as service animals under current regulations and are not permitted in the salon.

What Qualifies as a Service Dog?

A service dog is individually trained to perform tasks directly related to a person’s disability. These may include:

• Guide Dogs: Assist individuals with vision impairments.

• Hearing Dogs: Alert to important sounds for those with hearing loss.

• Mobility Assistance Dogs: Provide support with balance or retrieving items.

• Medical Alert Dogs: Trained to respond to seizures or other medical episodes.

• Psychiatric Service Dogs: Trained to perform specific tasks related to a mental health disability (a note from a licensed mental health professional is required).

What is an Emotional Support Animal (ESA)?

An ESA provides emotional comfort but is not trained to perform tasks. ESAs are not legally recognized as service animals and are not allowed in salons or other public places that restrict animals.

Thank you for understanding and helping us maintain a safe, healthy,

and welcoming environment for all our guests.
